matroxset software package provides switch output modes, including TV out, of Matrox video cards, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install matroxset
matroxset is installed in your system.
Make ensure the matroxset package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep matroxset *
You will get with matroxset package name, version, architecture and description in a table
